Elmaleh, 387 Middle Road (26-127) The Board approved a septic tank replacement plan presented by Chris Alley that does not require variances.
Ahola, 14 Paddock Circle (11-28.7) The Board approved a septic system upgrade presented by Chris Alley that does not require variances.
McDaniel, 2 Kenasoome Way (11-55.1) The Board asked for further clarification of a septic system construction permit prepared by Reid Silva.
Substance Abuse: Marina Lent updated the Board on initiatives to address addiction and substance abuse treatment needs on Martha’s Vineyard, including the formation of a Substance Abuse Coalition which meets regularly. She also reported on the work of a DPH-funded public health intern, Kelly McCarron.
Coast Guard Station septic system discharge permit—Marina Lent reported that she has discussed the wastewater disposal system at the Coast Guard with DEP and Coast Guard staff. She intends to attend the upcoming septic system inspection and is to be informed of the date and time by the CG.
